...those were the days...

There was a time (not THAT long ago...) that if you had a cool-sounding cassette tape of your band--you were pretty hot stuff. No need for a website, CD, DVD, Blog, Vlog, MySpace, FaceBook, PodCast, bumpersticker...you get the idea.

It doesn't really work that way anymore... So we lovingly recorded our Atmos Trio CD.

We built a website and put up a MySpace.

a Google search will reveal a bunch more ...

We're even working on a DVD.

So... dig-in and enjoy the virtual Atmos Trio in the digital domain. If you prefer a more "analog experience," here are some upcoming Atmos shows:

See you on "the other side."

Atmos Trio in Bass Player Magazine

For those of you that read Bass Player Magazine--this month's issue features Jaco Pastorius on the cover and specifically details the various musical aspects of his tune "Havona."

They make mention of the Atmos Trio's version of the tune from our CD "Atmos Trio."

Cool...

THE REAL DEAL...

You can just tell when you're in the presence of authentic, legitimate brilliance. You know: THE REAL DEAL... That's what I saw when I heard Stevie Wonder work his magic the other night: SMOKIN'...

Newly rejuvenated with Stevie's energy, Atmos Trio sets-out to spin our own magic at The Bistro in Hayward--TOMORROW night--come on by.

Then again at Jupiter during the early show (5-7pm) in Berkeley. We always love playing there and seeing familiar faces.

Both of these performances feature Drew Waters on the bass, Marc Smith on the drums and yours truly on guitar...

Does anyone use text messaging? I don't that much, but for those of you that do, you can receive updates re: our live shows and other news via your cell phone by visiting Broadtexter . Feel free to either sign-up for that (it take about 30 seconds...) or drop us a note to let us know if you think it's a dumb idea...

See you on "the other side."
